Information Systems and Technologies Expo

In 2022, İzmir Katip Çelebi University (İKÇÜ) was among the eight stakeholder universities involved in the Digital Innovation Collaboration Platform project, initiated under the leadership of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of Republic of Türkiye. This platform aims to strengthen collaborations between academia, public institutions, and industry in the field of digital technologies. Additionally, in the same year, İKÇÜ was selected as one of eight pilot universities for the “Big Data in Higher Education Project,” launched by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), taking on a pivotal role in digital transformation and technology development processes.

This fair is dedicated to advancing Türkiye’s digital ecosystem by aligning with the strategies of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of Republic of Türkiye. Through locally developed projects such as the “University Information Management System (ÜBYS)” and the “University Cloud Computing System (ÜBBS)”, both created by our university, it aims to contribute to the national technology landscape. The event also seeks to foster robust collaborations between public institutions and the private sector to drive innovative solutions in technology and informatics.

Our fair provides a platform for knowledge sharing in areas such as information management systems, big data, cloud technologies, open-source software development, artificial intelligence, enterprise solutions, and digital transformation strategies. It also promotes the adoption of locally developed products while showcasing the technologies essential to the sector. By bringing together universities, IT companies, and public institutions, the event encourages the formation of strong strategic partnerships to deliver impactful solutions.
